Tickets
ALWAYS KEEP YOUR LOTTERY TICKETS! TixPix™ uses InSight™ technology with your smartphone’s camera to scan your lottery ticket from official lottery sources. Your lottery ticket is the only proof of any potential winnings. TixPix™ CANNOT be used as any form of proof to claim any lottery prize. All lottery games and all associated logo's are the Trademarks of their respective state or national lottery authority. Tixpix™ is NOT affiliated with or endorsed by any state, federal or national lottery authority.
Scan
A scan is a representation stored in TixPix™ of the information that appears on your tickets. A scan is stored in TixPix™ for use in its services. Scans are not tickets and cannot be used as proof of ticket numbers to any third party including lotteries.
Scan Accuracy
Although every effort is made to ensure the scan accuracy of tickets in our lottery application, no text recognition technology is perfect and mistakes can occur in identifying information on the ticket. Tixpix™ makes a reasonable attempt to ensure that the numbers that are scanned with InSight™ technology are accurate. It is the user's responsibility to check the physical ticket and to confirm the numbers physical tickets with the respective Lottery. TixPix™ makes no warranties about scan accuracy, express or implied. Both Powerball (www.powerball.com) and MegaMillions (www.megamillions.com) have their own websites for you to check the accuracy of your tickets. If you receive a notification that you may have a potential winning ticket or that you do not have a winning potential ticket, it is still your responsibility to check the physical ticket with that official lottery.
Lotteries can also randomly change the tickets format and wording without prior notice. Tixpix™ will make a reasonable attempt to keep up with these changes but cannot be held responsible for them. Terms of Use
By using this app, you hereby agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use, and that you have no legal or other rights regarding the services except those specifically granted to you in these Terms of use. You also agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local, state, federal and or national laws.
General Use of the Services
TixPix™ hereby grants you permission to access and use InSight™ technology and services as set forth in these terms provided that:
- You agree not to alter, modify, or copy any part of TixPix™, it’s technology or services.
- You agree not to attempt to reverse engineer or decompile any part of the app whatsoever
- You agree not to share any subscriptions in violation of Google’s subscription service
- You agree to use the services to scan only original, unaltered lottery tickets
- You agree to use the app in a safe manner to scan tickets
- You agree TixPix and its scans are not proof of winning any lottery prize and cannot be used as evidence to claim any prize from any source
You may use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable local, state, federal, and national rules and regulations.
Tixpix's™ technology and services are always evolving, and the form and nature of the services that we provide may change from time to time without prior notice to you. You obtain no right or privilege to the continuation of any specific service, or the other service's generally provided. You also agree by the use of the services that TixPix™ may stop permanently or temporarily any of the services that TixPix™ provides at our discretion. This includes but is not limited to any specific aspect or feature of TixPix™, and we my do so without prior notice. We may also add new features or aspects to the services at anytime, again without any prior notice to you. We also retain the right to create limits on your use of TixPix™ at our sole discretion and at any time without prior notice to you.
The services stated above may include advertisements, which maybe targeted to the content, aspect or features of Tixpix™. This includes queries made through the services or other information collected through your use of TixPix™. They types and extent of advertising on the services are subject to change without notice. In consideration for Tixpix™ granting you access to use the services, you agree that TixPix™ and its third party providers and advertisers may place such advertising on the services or may advertise in connection with the display of content or information from the services itself.
Safe Use of TixPix
During use of the App, you must be aware of your surroundings and scan safely. You agree that your use of the App and scanning tickets is at your own risk, and it is your responsibility to maintain such health, liability, hazard, personal injury, medical, life, and other insurance policies as you deem reasonably necessary for any injuries that you may incur while using the services. You also agree not to use the App to violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation including but not limited to trespassing laws. You agree not to encourage or enable any other individual to violate any applicable law, rule, or regulation. Without limiting the foregoing, you agree that in conjunction with your use of the App you will not engage in any activity that may result in injury, death, property damage and/or liability of any kind to the extent permitted by applicable law, TeamNSG disclaims all liability related to any property damage, personal injury, or death that may occur during your use of our services. This includes any claims based on the violation of any applicable law, rule, regulation, or your alleged negligence or other tort liability. Further, in the event that you have a dispute with one or more other users of the App, you release TeamNSG (and our officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, joint ventures, and employees) from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.
Rights in App
Subject to your compliance with these terms, TeamNSG grants you a limited nonexclusive, nontransferable, non-sublicensable license to download and install a copy of the App on a mobile device and to run such copy of the App solely for your own personal, noncommercial purposes. Except as expressly permitted in these terms, you may not: (a) copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the App; (b) distribute, transfer, sub-license, lease, lend, or rent the App to any third party; (c ) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; or (d) make the functionality of the App available to multiple users through any means. TeamNSG reserves all rights in and to the App not expressly granted to you under these Terms.
Third Party Charges
TixPix™ may be required to allow communication via internet or cell phone data usage. In such instances, third party carrier charges may apply and you are solely responsible for such charges, if any.
Privacy Policy
TixPix™ is committed to protecting your privacy rights. It is the policy of TixPix™ to limit the collection of your personal information and protect of the personal information it collects and maintains at all times. TixPix™ collects anonymous usage data in order to improve your user experience and in particular its InSight™ scanning technology. The content of this policy may be altered at anytime at our discretion.
